Areas of Practice: Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights, Commercial Litigation
Ron’s practice focuses on commercial litigation with an emphasis on creditors’ rights, the Uniform Commercial Code, secured transactions, and bankruptcy before U.S. District Courts, Bankruptcy Courts, and Virginia State Courts.
Ron represents secured and unsecured creditors, trustees, corporate debtors in insolvency matters, including Chapter 11 reorganizations, business liquidations, and loan workouts.
Prior to joining Cantor Arkema in 2008, Ron was an associate with Kutak Rock LLP where he focused on the representation of creditors in commercial loan workouts and the representation of Chapter 7 trustees in bankruptcy, among other aspects of bankruptcy and commercial litigation.

Recent Bankruptcy Mega Cases:
- • LandAmerica 1031 Exchange Services, Inc. – Represents numerous customers whose 1031 exchange funds were frozen in the bankruptcy. Represents one of five plaintiffs selected to serve as lead cases to determine the rights of the exchange customers.
